Kinsey architecture provided the architectural design & drawings and Kinsey Construction built the project. The pool house is a detached addition with an existing residence on site. The clients requested that the project feel like a vacation resort. The entire poolhouse is built of stone with extensive flagstone floors inside, flowing out to a pool deck and a 20'-0" X 45'-0" swimming pool with an automatic retractable pool cover. There is also an 18' foot long outdoor stone BBQ with a large beamed trellis overhead. A 4' diameter automatic stone firepit and 8' diameter stone hot tub complete the spa like atmosphere.

A unique feature of the pool house is 30' long by 8'-6" high fully retractable glass wall which opens up to the outside pool and deck. This feature truly brings the outside in and the inside out. the abundant use of stone and heavy timber make this an especially attractive addition.
